MCKAGAN, MCCREADY Perform GUNS N' ROSES' 'Patience' On 'The BJ Shea Morning Experience' (Video)

Duff McKagan (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES),Mike McCready (PEARL JAM),Star Anna and Jeff Rouse took part in an interview and acoustic performance this past Wednesday morning (September 1) on "The BJ Shea Morning Experience" show on the Seattle radio station KISW 99.9 FM. The appearance can now be streamed using the audio player below. Also available is video footage of the musicians' cover version of the GUNS N' ROSES classic "Patience".

On Thursday, September 2 at The Moore Theatre in Seattle, Washington, Northwest musicians McKagan, McCready, Shawn Smith, Star Anna, Mark Pickerel, Kim Virant, Justin Davis, Tim DiJulio, Chris and Rick Friel, Rebeqa Rivers, Jeff Rouse, Ty Bailie, Kristen Ward, Gary Westlake and friends united once again for an extraordinary evening of music to benefit the Gulf Coast.

A special appearance was made by Edgar Hansen and Matt Bradley from the crab vessel The Northwestern. They talked about their experience viewing the disaster and the current condition the Gulf.

Hootenanny For A Healthy Gulf included a silent auction, raffle and audience sing-a-long. These, along with the proceeds from ticket sales, will support the efforts of Gulf Restoration Network (GRN),the only non-profit exclusively focused on the health of the Gulf of Mexico.

Hootenanny For A Healthy Gulf is possible by the generous donations of the artists and Seattle Theater Group (STG).
